2020 as the Year of Roman Ingarden
The Sejm of the Republic of Poland, convinced of the uniqueness of the work and attitude of the philosopher, establishes 2020 as the Year of Roman Ingarden. 2020 is the 50th anniversary of the death of Roman Ingarden – one of the greatest Polish philosophers.
417 deputies voted in favor of the resolution, there were two against, no abstentions.
The resolution emphasized that the Sejm of the Republic of Poland “in recognition of the scholar’s great merits, decides to pay homage to him.”
