50th anniversary of the death of Roman Ingarden
Roman Ingarden died in Kraków on June 14, 1970. This month, 50 years have passed since the death of this outstanding Polish humanist. On the occasion of the anniversary, Elżbieta Witek, Speaker of the Sejm, laid flowers at the grave of the philosopher at the Rakowicki Cemetery. She was accompanied by prof. Krzysztof Ingarden, grandson of the philosopher and prof. Leszek Sosnowski, Chairman of the Board of the Roman Ingarden Philosophical Research Center as a representative of the academic community of the Jagiellonian University in Kraków.
